De Kerk opens its doors for Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026 (location 18 on the route map, Rotterdam North). Studios are open Sat 19 Sept and Sun 20 Sept, 12:00 to 18:00. Entry is free with a ticket reserved through GRAW; a voluntary contribution goes to the makers.
For one year now, eight artists and photographers have been sharing a studio in De Kerk on the Nootdorpstraat. The original character of the church building has been preserved through the use of open spaces, allowing the artists to casually encounter each other’s work. Though there are no official partnerships, individual artists informally pick up fragments of each other’s work routines, creative processes, and materials.
