Voices Without Feet Travel Far
Opening Event: Friday 13 March 2026, 17.00-21.00 Exhibition dates: 14-22 March, everyday, 12.00-19.00 Part of the airWG series Izzy Lee presents a new omnibus video installation composed of four ghost narratives inspired by Korean urban legends and the site-specific architectural archive of Amsterdam. The work unfolds within the former Wilhelmina Gasthuis complex, drawing these voices into a space that once functioned as a women's clinic. Through video, sculptural elements, sound, and architectural fragments, Izzy transforms the exhibition into a haunted meeting house, a fictional site where ghosts gather across cultures, borders and timelines. Material traces reshape the space into a hybrid between film set, shrine, and speculative archive.
