Art History 20th Century - group exhibition

This exhibition traces a plural history of twentieth-century art through artists who challenged vision, language, and form. From the experimental photography and conceptual irony of Man Ray and Marcel Broodthaers to the rigorous typologies of Bernd and Hilla Becher, the works presented reveal art’s dialogue with industry, media, and everyday structures. Architectural modernism meets poetic abstraction in Slothouber & Graatsma, while Lotti van der Gaag and Alfred Kubin expand the imaginary. With Milan Kunc, Peter Angermann, Bob Bonies, and Éva Besnyő, the exhibition foregrounds art as a critical, evolving tool—rooted in history, yet oriented toward new ways of seeing and thinking.
