De Wasserij

De Wasserij opens its doors for Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026 (location 20 on the route map, Rotterdam North). Studios are open Sat 19 Sept and Sun 20 Sept, 12:00 to 18:00. Entry is free with a ticket reserved through GRAW; a voluntary contribution goes to the makers.

De Wasserij is somewhat hidden away in a large courtyard near the Bergweg in North Rotterdam, in a factory building that once served as the industrial laundry of the former Bergweg hospital. Since its opening in November 2019, De Wasserij has served as a versatile breeding ground for fashion. The complex houses some 50 workshops for a variety of disciplines: fashion, textiles, costumes, shoes, goldsmithery, photography, printmaking.
