MERGE CORP. LIVE

MERGE CORP. LIVE

MERGE CORP. LIVE

Staged as a corporate launch event, MERGE CORP. LIVE is a mesmerising music-theatre performance.

We invite you into the magical world of eternal belonging. Through sound, bodies, and shared experience, MERGE CORP. presents a radical solution to today’s most pressing challenges: social isolation, algorithmic capture, forced performativity, and a diminishing sense of purpose and belonging.

Inside Merge Corp. Plaza, an exclusive presentation unfolds, offering a glimpse into a seamless future where connection, unity, and shared meaning are fully integrated into everyday life.

Performed by seven musicians and movers, MERGE CORP. LIVE explores our longing to belong in an increasingly fragmented world, and what we are willing to surrender in exchange.

Together, we are more.

About the makers

A dance company with only musicians, Moving Strings is a non-hierarchical performance ensemble and research platform exploring sound, movement and collective creation. Working across theatres, alternative venues, and site-specific contexts, it combines music, choreography, improvisation, and somatic practice. The ensemble has been artist-in-residence at Gaudeamus Festival and Splendor Amsterdam, and has presented work at venues including TivoliVredenburg, Het Huis Utrecht, OT301, and Perdu. Its educational branch, Play As We Are, has led workshops and seminars at UCL, Luxembourg University, Codarts and KonCon. Based in Amsterdam.

Artun Çekem is a composer from Istanbul working at the intersection of concert music, technology, and performance. His work explores uncanny aesthetics, internet subcultures, and liminal zones between the human and non-human. He has presented work internationally at festivals including Gaudeamus, MA/IN, Mixtur, and Written for Talea. He holds a DMA in Composition from Columbia University.

Caroline Geiser is a Swiss-Colombian theatre maker, writer, and dramaturg based in Amsterdam. A graduate of the Amsterdam University of the Arts (Directing), her work combines analytical philosophy, auto-theory, and text-based performance to explore memory, loneliness, and truth. Her work has been presented at Theater Utrecht, Opera Forward Festival, Frascati, and Reject Festival.
