TRYDAY: Misiconi - Interval
TRYDAY: Misiconi - Interval
Tryday offers a first insight into a pop-up installation developed alongside Interval, the upcoming dance performance by Misiconi. During this open research moment, choreographer Joop Oonk and Ludmilla Rodrigues share their ongoing exploration of time as a sensory and performative experience.
Through movement, scenography, dramaturgy, sound and interactive technologies, the artistic team investigates how non-linear perceptions of time can be embodied, spatialised and experienced. The installation is presented as a pop-up artwork in a dedicated space within the venue. Visitors are invited to step inside and slow down, entering a moment of rest and focused attention.
Elements from the dance research are woven into the installation, including an interactive sound composition by Mink Steekelenburg, created using the dancers’ voices. Both the studio presentation and the installation offer insight into the creative process of Interval.
Tryday invites visitors to observe, reflect and engage. Perceptions of time, space and in-between moments are allowed to shift. Exchanges during this day will inform the further development of the work toward its premiere in 2026.

Trydays
V2_’s Trydays are one-off events that take place on a Friday during the weekly Kunstavond, a collaboration between the art institutions in the Witte de With quarter, usually between 18:00–21:00h. Trydays provide artists an opportunity to ‘try-out’ a new work, installation or performance.
