De Kerk opent de deuren tijdens Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026 (locatie 18 op de routekaart, Rotterdam Noord). De ateliers zijn open op za 19 sep en zo 20 sep van 12.00 tot 18.00 uur. Toegang is gratis met een via GRAW gereserveerd ticket; een vrijwillige bijdrage gaat naar de makers.
For one year now, eight artists and photographers have been sharing a studio in De Kerk on the Nootdorpstraat. The original character of the church building has been preserved through the use of open spaces, allowing the artists to casually encounter each other’s work. Though there are no official partnerships, individual artists informally pick up fragments of each other’s work routines, creative processes, and materials.
