The Media Art Café brings people together for informal exchange and conversation. This edition features the 2026 WinterSessions residents Arabella Turner, Nino Basilashvili, Geo Barcan & Edwin Mingard, and Rafaele Andrade and a selection of the outcomes of the Microdosing A.I. residency

Media Art Café

Networking and social exchange are important drivers of any art community. The Media Art Cafe is a part of V2_’s public program that provides our community of media art practitioners and enthusiasts with a space to gather and talk casually. Each edition is hosted by a member of staff or prominent invited guest(s), who will help to spark conversation or just serve you a drink while you catch up with friends or peers.

WinterSessions

WinterSessions is a one‑week production residency aimed at developing a clear concept into a presentable sketch. The residency offers a highly productive atmosphere with support, feedback, and expert supervision.

In the last week of February 2026 five artists will work at V2_ on four new projects or further develop existing works: Arabella Turner, Nino Basilashvili, Geo Barcan & Edwin Mingard, and Rafaele Andrade.

After a week residency at V2, the artists will further develop their work in their own studios. During this period, the group will regularly meet with V2 staff — both individually and as a full group — to exchange ideas and further shape their work.
