Petites Images opent de deuren tijdens Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026 (locatie 87 op de routekaart, Rotterdam West). De ateliers zijn open op za 19 sep en zo 20 sep van 12.00 tot 18.00 uur. Toegang is gratis met een via GRAW gereserveerd ticket; een vrijwillige bijdrage gaat naar de makers.
Caroline Dijk and Monica Ruiz are De Filmzusters (The Film Sisters), independent filmmakers and producers. Together with the Cult010 Foundation, we are committed to supporting independent filmmakers, writers, and artists as they forge their own paths beyond the mainstream. We offer practical guidance and creative support for all kinds of artistic challenges, providing a range of cinematic services, including consultation and mentoring.
During GRAW, we open the doors of Petites Images Studio, home to a hidden gem: the Petit Theatre, where two independent films by De Filmzusters will be screened.
Mister Pop Festival (57 min) – documentary by Caroline Dijk
Georges Knap, an intriguing and modest sales representative of medical equipment and father of three, unexpectedly became the driving force behind the 1970 Holland Pop Festival in Rotterdam’s Kralingse Bos—dubbed the “Woodstock on the Maas.” With more than 100,000 visitors and performances by bands such as The Byrds, Jefferson Airplane, and Pink Floyd, the festival has never been equalled in the Netherlands, but its success came at a personal cost.
