Test_Lab: Summer Sessions 2026
Four Summer Sessions residents present the first outcomes of their residencies at V2_.
Over the past months, Ceren Sözer, Julie van Essen, Nina Anin and Eunseong Park have been developing new projects as part of Summer Sessions 2026. On 3 and 4 September, they open up their work in progress during a special two-day TestLab at V2.
Test_Lab marks an important moment within their residencies. Rather than presenting finished works, the four residents will share first versions of the projects they have been developing, making their ongoing processes, experiments and questions accessible to an audience.
Across the two evenings, visitors can encounter four distinct practices and get an early look at projects still in development. The presentations offer a moment to test ideas outside the studio, exchange perspectives and see where the works might go next.
Wednesday 3 September
19:30–22:00
Free entrance
Thursday 4 September ( Kunstavond)
18:00–21:00
Free entrance
Summer Sessions
Summer Sessions are short-term international residencies for emerging artists and designers, focused on art and technology. Each summer, a global network of cultural organizations, including V2_, supports early-career makers with the tools, guidance, and funding they need to turn a concept into a presentable work. The residencies last around eight weeks between July and September. Artists receive access to the facilities of the host institute, expert support, and a budget for travel, accommodation, materials, and a stipend.
