For exhibition #10, work by ten artists has been selected that is typical of Studio Seine; the work invites reflection. Paintings, drawings, video, and photography are on display—media in which the maker's signature is clearly recognizable and with which the viewer actively engages. Studio Seine is the place for personal stories, where artists are invited to peel back and display their personal stories layer by layer: stories about conflict, personal and societal fault lines, echoes of history, healing, and connection. Every person is a story. By telling, we know who that person is, where he or she comes from, and which dreams, wishes, obsessions, and fears shape the present and the future. The viewer can immerse themselves in the stories of others—and thus come closer to their own story.
