Ballon Rouge

Ballon Rouge opens its doors for Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026 (location 15 on the route map, Rotterdam North). Studios are open Sat 19 Sept and Sun 20 Sept, 12:00 to 18:00. Entry is free with a ticket reserved through GRAW; a voluntary contribution goes to the makers.

Ballon Rouge is a place for photography, located in the Zwaanshalskwartier in Rotterdam North. A community space that fosters meetings between photographers, image makers, and art lovers. Photographers meet here, show and discuss their work, and have a platform to present their work professionally. Ballon Rouge is an inclusive and welcoming place where artists and visitors feel at home, a creative incubator where studio, exhibition space, and workspaces come together.
