COMMON GROUNDS
COMMON GROUNDS is an evening where movement opens the conversation. Three performances — CRI(S)P, Momentum and Badke (remix) — show how bodies break free from expectations and discover new forms of connection. Through rhythm, sound, gesture, touch and silence, a shared language emerges.
Performers meet, separate and find each other again, creating a landscape of encounters where distance shifts into contact and dance becomes a source of imagination and freedom. In the foyer, Meervaart Jong Atelier presents masksinspired by the work of Jasmijn Vermeeren.
Amsterdam Fringe Festival, Meervaart and the Nederlands Theater Festival bring these works together because they highlight stories that deserve far more space: honest, urgent and full of life.

Start the evening by meeting the artists behind Common Grounds. Tobias Kokkelmans (Director, Nederlands Theater Festival) talks to Boaz Blume, Brendan Lodder and the makers of Leefmeesters and Badke(remix), together with Farnoosh Farnia (Director, Amsterdam Fringe Festival), about their work, ideas and what drives them. A chance to get to know the people behind the performances before the evening unfolds.
