Hildegardisstraat & Ruivenstraat

Hildegardisstraat & Ruivenstraat opens its doors for Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026 (location 24 on the route map, Rotterdam North). Studios are open Sat 19 Sept and Sun 20 Sept, 12:00 to 18:00. Entry is free with a ticket reserved through GRAW; a voluntary contribution goes to the makers.

Tucked away in an edible indoor garden in Rotterdam Noord, this large old school building serves as an artists’ studio complex run by SKAR. Since 2016, artists working in various disciplines have been based here. The open studios offer a glimpse into the practices of animation, drawing, sculpture, photography, film, graphic arts, painting, performance, music, and writing. The building consists of two connected sections and has two addresses. Both parts of the building can be accessed via the entrance at Hildegardisstraat 8.
