INDEBT x diez invites…

A collaboration between DIEZ and INDEBT brings together a group of international galleries in the monumental INDEBT Broedplaats building in Amsterdam from November 18 to 21, 2026. During Amsterdam Art Week, the galleries temporarily take over different spaces throughout the building, creating room for different forms of presentation and exchange.

The initiative brings international perspectives to Amsterdam and places them in direct dialogue with the city’s existing cultural landscape. Over four days, the building becomes a temporary meeting place for galleries, artists, curators, collectors and the public.

The building itself is central to the project. INDEBT Broedplaats is still undergoing renovation and has not yet officially opened to the public. For these four days, its doors temporarily open. Visitors are invited to move through spaces that are still in development and normally inaccessible. Throughout the building, the international galleries present their programmes. The unfinished state of the building becomes part of the presentations, giving each gallery the freedom to engage with the space in its own way.
