Part of the puntWG Open Call Serie
Bright Measure is a duo exhibition by Maria Paris Borda and Radna Rumping. Brought together for this occasion, the artists have explored intersections in their artistic practices through an exchange rooted in language, sound, and the fleeting nature of perception. Both artists approach text as a primary material, intertwining their artistic work with curatorial and editorial modes of practice. Their shared sensitivity to the ephemeral—the flicker of light, the passing sound, the elusive image—forms the foundation of their collaboration.
Bright Measure presents recent individual works alongside a new collaborative sound piece. On the ground floor, Maria presents I glimpsed a glimmer, a work responding to puntWG’s vaulted ceiling, in dialogue with the drawing series Arch 1, 2, 3, 4. On the mezzanine, Radna presents her publication Shaky Ground (Stubborn Material) and the audio work Moving, Repetition. A collaborative sound piece weaves together their voices, texts, and reflections on (in)finitude, slipping images, and small revelations in the everyday.
Radna will read from her publication on November 23, November 30, and December 7 at 15:00 (duration approx. 30 minutes), accompanied by subtle shifts within Maria’s installation.
