Cinemini: The Gruffalo’s Child (2+)

For the very youngest, Eye is screening The Gruffalo’s Child, the sequel to The Gruffalo. And once again, a Big Dangerous Beast takes centre stage… Film (30’) followed by a play (30’).

The child leaves the warm den and sets off into the forest in search of the Big Dangerous Mouse; Father has described what that monster looks like: he has fiery eyes, a long scaly tail and a moustache as hard as iron wire. It is peaceful and beautiful in the snow-covered forest, but sometimes quite exciting too. And the Big Bad Mouse? There’s no sign of it anywhere. Finally, just as the child has given up hope, they come across the mouse. And is it Big and Bad?

The Gruffalo’s Child is based on the children’s book of the same name.
