the living world around us brings the work of 3 artists together. Suzanne Plomp explores in coloured pencil drawings the physical realm, the interior of the body, life in the soil and other systems operating beneath the surface. ‘Otherworldly’ is what characterises her work. Growth, metamorphosis and mutation unfold in lush networks of bodily tissue.

Su Melo’s touchable ceramic sculptures function as agents that enable relationships not only among humans, but equally between ourselves and natural and artificial objects alike. Melo shows her recently created works in the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park in Japan.

The colourful bright paintings of Anne Marie Spijker are inspired by her walks in the everchanging nature in Greece. The bright colours evoke a sense of euphoria; as if the sun is always shining. The paint flows, creating light, airy paintings that captivate the viewer.
