GEDICHTEN IN KLEUR –

The two artists, Daan de Jong (1982) and Thomas Thyrion (1983), whom Galerie Quintessens brings together this autumn in the dual exhibition ‘Gedichten in kleur’, share far more than an exacting dedication to every square centimetre of their compositions. For both, meticulous and methodical painting offers a way to articulate their mood, their state of mind, or reality itself. What holds true for both artists: their paintings are poems in colour, albeit approached from distinct perspectives.
