Kunstliefde / FASES er is geen einde en geen begin – Art Forever

Six artists, six stories, one extraordinary exhibition honouring Peter Paul van der Houven. Through his Art Forever foundation, he has been directing video portraits since 2013 of artists who have exhibited at Kunstliefde, among other venues. For this exhibition, he has selected six artists whose latest works will be shown alongside a new video portrait. Archival footage, recent recordings and the artworks themselves trace how these practitioners have evolved over the years. The exhibition FASES reveals how an artist's oeuvre is in continuous motion: every end heralds a new beginning.

The opening, on Saturday 31 January at 16:00, marks the premiere of a new film in which Art Forever revisits these six artists. The film weaves new footage together with the portraits filmed years ago, offering a compelling view of the artists' trajectories and illuminating how life, society and today's world shape their practice.
