Nieuwe Liefde '26

With Nieuwe Liefde '26, Kunstliefde presents seven new artist members. Each year, Kunstliefde selects new members, followed by this exhibition in which their work is shown at Kunstliefde for the first time.

This year's artists are Alejandro Casas, Marjolein Hessels, Mary Janssen, Saskia Koster, Uli Kürner, Oscar Riezebos, and Janine van Veen. Their work spans painting, photography, installation, embroidery, and sound art, demonstrating how diverse and personal an artistic practice can be.

The seven artists each bring a distinct narrative and perspective, united by a curious, inquisitive approach. Playing with perception, materiality, and memory, they bring subtle gestures, abstract forms, and the often invisible into view. Observation, imagination, and experience intertwine, inviting the audience to look, feel, and discover.
