Food: Spring rolls and soup by George & Perry (vegan)
Guided Tour of the space – Tomas, George, Saskia

Malika Amghar has worked for over 20 years in the social domain of Amsterdam, developing practical and creative solutions regarding homelessness and housing at De Regenboog Groep. Her focus is on what is possible and what truly works: “Finding solutions is something I find fascinating and challenging; eliminating a root cause within the system is where my passion lies. I don't believe in mopping the floor with the tap running.”

Rainbow Soulclub is an art and solidarity collective founded in 2005 by visual artists Saskia Janssen and George Korsmit. The collective consists of makers and thinkers from diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds who meet regularly in the shared studio at the drop-in centre of Stichting De Regenboog Groep, an Amsterdam-based organisation dedicated to supporting people facing homelessness, addiction, poverty, and the challenges associated with an undocumented status.

Operating through an organic model that continuously expands and evolves—free of agendas, hierarchies, and expectations—Rainbow Soulclub centres on the conviction that every human being possesses the capacity for expression, even in complex and undignified circumstances.

This exhibition is supported by Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst, De Regenboog Groep, VriendenLoterij Fonds, and Mondriaan Fonds.
