TRIPLE EXPOSURE – three Utrecht galleries present the future
Three Utrecht galleries join forces to present new talent from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU). Galerie Sanaa, Galerie Larik and De Moving Gallery are jointly organising the exhibition TRIPLE EXPOSURE, featuring a selection of promising HKU graduates of 2025. The exhibition was realised in collaboration with and at the request of HKU.

With Triple Exposure, the galleries present one joint exhibition across three locations. Each selected the graduates they found most promising – innovative in material, thought, and form. These young talents are given the opportunity to showcase their work in a professional context and gain visibility among a broader audience. Visiting all three locations offers a multifaceted overview of a new generation of artists: fresh, inquisitive, and full of imagination.
“It is special to collaborate with my fellow Utrecht galleries and to make a selection from all the wonderful work on show this year during the HKU exhibition Exposure,” says gallery owner Arnoud van Mosselveld of De Moving Gallery. “We are showing work by young artists who are now embarking on their own path outside their studies. Triple Exposure shows how diverse these voices can sound, and precisely because of that, come together so powerfully.”
Berthe Schoonman of Galerie Sanaa says: “The wonderful thing about Triple Exposure is that it demonstrates the breadth of HKU. We chose artists from various disciplines – from Fine Art to Illustration and Education – who all show in their own way what art can be today: engaged, inventive, and full of curiosity.”
Oscar Larik of Galerie Larik emphasizes the importance of visibility: “For many of these artists, this is the first time they are showing their work in a gallery context. We want to give them that opportunity — and give the public the chance to discover new talent.”
