Erik van Lieshout

For his new exhibition at Annet Gelink Gallery, Erik van Lieshout presents a series of works emerging from his research into De Peel, the region in North Brabant where he grew up. Since 2022, he has been revisiting this former peatland landscape, where issues such as nitrogen emissions, peatland restoration and biodiversity increasingly intersect with agriculture, local history and the future of the landscape.
