The Party

This November, Folkert de Jong presents his first solo exhibition at Galerie Ron Mandos, titled The Party. Known for his theatrical sculptures that expose the darker side of power, history, and human nature, De Jong presents a new body of work in plaster and concrete. In The Party, an elegant celebration appears carefully staged, yet something has shifted. The atmosphere is disturbed, certainty gives way to unease, and behind the festive setting another reality gradually comes into view.
