Ateliergebouw Zalmstraat

Ateliergebouw Zalmstraat opens its doors for Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026 (location 66 on the route map, Schiedam West). Studios are open Sat 19 Sept and Sun 20 Sept, 12:00 to 18:00. Entry is free with a ticket reserved through GRAW; a voluntary contribution goes to the makers.

Zalmstraat 27 is the address of the former Wilhelmina School from 1931. It is located in De Gorzen, a peninsula in the south of Schiedam, and has been used as artist studios since 1988. This makes it the oldest studio building in Schiedam. The work of each of the 7 artists has been included in the collection of the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam.
