Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026

Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend (GRAW) opens the doors to the studios of Rotterdam artists, makers and creatives for one weekend every September. From Crooswijk to Coolhaven and from Hillevliet to Hillegersberg, around 700 artists at about 90 locations show where and how they work: art up close, the makers behind it, and buildings that are usually closed to the public. Many sell work from their studios, and participating locations are marked by green flags.

The 2026 edition is the seventh. GRAW is a foundation with cultural ANBI status whose aim is to bridge the gap between artists and the public, to celebrate the cultural richness of Rotterdam, and to keep affordable studio space on the city’s agenda. Entry is free with a ticket reserved through the weekend’s site; a voluntary contribution goes directly to the makers.
