Burgundy Brunch & Artist Talk: Saar Scheerlings

On Saturday 21 November, we’ll take you on a journey through Saar Scheerlings’ practice, which stimulates all the senses. In her practice, art and life are inextricably linked. She paints fragments from her daily life onto her ceramic vases. The region where she lives, Burgundy in France, is a major source of inspiration for her work. During this event, held as part of her exhibition, opening during Amsterdam Art Week, life and art come together. We’ll be serving a selection of dishes from her region – such as pickled eggs and cheese puffs with Comté – on the artist’s own ceramics. Meanwhile, the artist will talk about her surroundings, her studio and how her work comes to life.
