Dr. H. Bavinckschool

Dr. H. Bavinckschool opens its doors for Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026 (location 21 on the route map, Rotterdam North). Studios are open Sat 19 Sept and Sun 20 Sept, 12:00 to 18:00. Entry is free with a ticket reserved through GRAW; a voluntary contribution goes to the makers.

The Dr. Bavinck studio complex at Berkelselaan 44 A+B is a former primary school and kindergarten located in the Liskwartier district. The 12 studios are populated by artists from a broad range of disciplines, from photography and traditional painting to conceptual works, as well as printmaking techniques such as woodcutting, silkscreen printing and etching. There’s definitely something special here for every taste; even with all the variety of the Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend, this is an address that shouldn’t be missed.
