Het Wilde Weten

Het Wilde Weten opens its doors for Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend 2026 (location 76 on the route map, Rotterdam West). Studios are open Sat 19 Sept and Sun 20 Sept, 12:00 to 18:00. Entry is free with a ticket reserved through GRAW; a voluntary contribution goes to the makers.

The artists’ space Het Wilde Weten was founded in 1992. The building that originally housed a Fransiscan nunnery, the Sint Mariaklooster, was converted into studios first by a group of artists and later with the help of the Municipal Services for Art and Culture, City of Rotterdam. Het Wilde Weten not only functions as a studio building but also as a public platform for all forms of contemporary art, cultural discussion and debate.
