A strong listing helps people find your exhibition and decide to visit. Here's what makes the difference.
Images
- At least 3 images: one cover, one detail shot, one installation view
- Cover image works at thumbnail size (clear, striking, tightly cropped)
- Images saved as WebP or JPEG, under 500KB each
- No blurry, dark, or flash-heavy photos
Description
- 40–80 words: specific, human, no jargon
- Mentions the artist by name
- Says what the visitor will actually see
- Includes the medium or materials
Dates and times
- Opening and closing dates are correct
- Opening hours are listed (or marked as by appointment)
- Special events noted (opening night, artist talk, finissage)
Practical details
- Admission is marked (free, paid, or pay-what-you-can)
- Venue is selected (not just typed, matched to an existing venue)
- Art type is tagged (photography, painting, installation, etc.)
- Accessibility information included where relevant
