Tagine en Tulpen

Tagine en Tulpen tells the story of my bicultural identity, inspired by my grandmother’s journey as part of the first generation of Moroccan women in the Netherlands. By fusing Moroccan craftsmanship and Dutch traditional costume through textile and form, I bring past and present, origin and environment into dialogue. My work is an ode to migration, cultural fusion, and the richness of growing up biculturally. It tells stories that often remain unseen and invites recognition and connection. For me, fashion serves as a social instrument, building a bridge between worlds where identity is never fixed, but in constant motion.
